What is Master Your Message?
At the Painted Porch, we like to do things a little differently. Students will be up and moving, participating fully in mind, body, heart, and spirit – intentionally. They’ll be actively evaluating and practicing how to communicate in their true voice – the voice that is confident, clear, rational, and effective.
Program Outline & Approach.
Achieve Message Mastery. This program is grouped and organized into 8 Modules, with each lesson including instruction, exercises, and implementation steps. The lessons can be delivered to your team On-demand, Virtually, or On-site.
Learn. Reflect. Discuss.
We believe that real learning and transformation is not a spectator sport. Through active exercises and discussions (be it onsite, via video call, per lesson, or through a private online community), as well as a Group Advisory & Coaching calls, your team can connect with us and each other to share takeaways, insights, ah-has, and more to help go from information to implementation.
During Module 1, your team will begin by examining their internal communication - how they speak to themselves - to identify the 'static' that is interfering with speaking in and from their true voice.
Module 3 dives into the power of listening FIRST and explores way to eliminate distractions or barriers to being fully present when communicating.
In Module 4's lessons, teams will learn about the power of Questions - how to ask, what to ask - and how curiosity can lead to incredible ideas and solution.
Module 6 discusses common communication barriers: judgment and disputes. Both can become major roadblocks to effective communication.
Discovering ways to bring awareness to and then reduce or eliminate poor speaking habits ("um's, ah's, so's, like's", etc.) is the center of Module 7's lessons.
Module 8 is the culmination of the hard work over the last 7 modules, where employees will design their new Blueprint for communicating with confidence, clarity, and impact.
